Professional Associations
All of our appraisers are proud members of the Appraisal Institute of Canada (AIC), which was founded in 1938 and for over 70 years has been the leading Canadian appraisal organization in educational, mentoring, and professional development within our industry. The AIC has a mandatory code of Rules and Ethics, and follows the Canadian Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice. (CUSPAP).
The AIC also grants Accreditation and Designation to members who have fulfilled the educational and experience requirements of the institute. These designations include:
| AACI | Accredited Appraiser of the Canadian Institute |
| P. App. | Professional Appraiser (to be used in conjunction only with AACI) |
| CRA | Canadian Residential Appraiser |
Furthermore, members who are pursuing their educational and experience requirements towards these designations, may hold a non‐designated, Candidate or Student membership.
