Douglas A. Niemi, CRA - Senior Partner

Douglas has been in the Real Estate Appraisal & Consulting industry in the Vancouver region since 1989. A graduate of the VCC - Langara Campus Realty Appraisal Diploma Program in 1989, he is currently the managing partner for the Surrey/Fraser Valley offices, completes appraisals of residential and IC&I properties, as well as provides residential appraisal review. Douglas is a corporate affiliate member of the Vancouver Real Estate Board and Fraser Valley Real Estate Board. Douglas currently holds the professional designation of CRA, Canadian Residential Appraiser awarded by the Appraisal Institute of Canada, which was achieved in 1995.

Michael S. LaPorte, AACI, P. App, CRP - Senior Partner

Michael has been in the Real Estate Appraisal & Consulting industry in the Vancouver region since 1989. A graduate of the VCC - Langara Campus Realty Appraisal Certificate Program in 1989, he is currently a managing partner for the Greater Vancouver offices, completes appraisals of executive residential and IC&I properties, as well as provides appraisal review. His experience includes expert witness testimony before the Supreme Court of British Columbia. Michael is a corporate affiliate member of the Vancouver Real Estate Board and Fraser Valley Real Estate Board. Michael held the professional designation of CRA, Canadian Residential Appraiser awarded by the Appraisal Institute of Canada in 1995, and currently holds the professional designation of AACI, P.App., Accredited Appraiser of the Canadian Institute awarded by the Appraisal Institute of Canada, which was achieved in 2002. Additionally, Michael holds the Certified Reserve Planner (CRP) designation which is awarded by the REIC (Real Estate Institute of Canada), and is among the first in British Columbia to hold this designation. Michael completes Functional Reserve Fund Studies on Residential and Commercial Strata Buildings in Metro Vancouver, the Fraser Valley, Sea to Sky Corridor, and the Victoria/South Vancouver Island Regions.

Terry D. Dowle, AACI, P.App. RI, CRP - Senior Partner

Terry has been in the Real Estate Appraisal & Consulting industry in the Vancouver region since 1989. A graduate of the VCC - Langara Campus Realty Appraisal Certificate Program in 1989, he is currently a managing partner for the Greater Vancouver offices and Whistler office, completes appraisals of IC&I properties throughout the Lower Mainland, Fraser Valley and Sea to Sky corridor, as well as provides appraisal review. His experience includes expert witness testimony before the Supreme Court of British Columbia. Terry is a corporate affiliate member of the Vancouver Real Estate Board and Fraser Valley Real Estate Board.
